Promoting Adoption of Agile Through BXT
Project Info
Client: PwC BXT Works
Agency: Experience Center
Date: Jan – March 2019
Category: Content Strategy; Copywriting; Editing; Creative Leadership
Already deeply immersed in the PwC brand and Experience Center’s design thinking culture, it was no surprise when the team tapped me to help launch a new collection of Agile tools and workshops.
I was embedded in a cross-functional team that included a strategy lead, Agile coach, training writer, and stakeholders from the digital services practice. We decided to adopt Agile for ourselves, breaking down the work and creating sprints to meet our first goal: a fast intro workshop at an executive training event.
In less than three weeks, we wrote, play-tested (three times!), revised, and polished a 20-minute workshop on how to break down a project using blind data from an actual pricing engagement and Agile methodologies.
The workshop was a resounding success, and we rolled out three different workshop templates around Agile basics, with facilitator guidelines and handouts over the next two months, in addition to videos and internal website content promoting adoption of Agile ways of working and human centered design for 35k+ management and strategy consultants at PwC.
