About Me
I ensure teams tell stories that resonate – in person, on a podcast, with a few words or a thousand, in photos, pixels, or video.
I’m a communications cross-trainer.
People fascinate me. The ins and outs of our attention change as quickly as the tech that feeds it, but one thing persists: We want a good story.
And I crave a challenge. Wrapping my brain around a new idea, technology, service, system—you name it—exploring how it serves others, and fine-tuning messaging to resonate with the right audience, on the right channel, in the right format? Bring it on. I’ve tackled topics from rodent handling to spatulas, breast cancer to blockchain, and more than you ever wanted to know about the business end of food.
I embed myself in teams and use years of journalism-honed curiosity to reveal root causes, pain points, delights, or the “Ah ha!” moments that bring a solution to life. Then, I can craft the narratives, develop the strategy, or lead your creatives (or non-creatives! I’m a firm believer in teaching others how to fish) to the finish line.
Ultimately, your story is my business. Let’s get to work.

Let Your Fingers Do the Walking
Once upon a time, I dreamed of becoming a real-life Murphy Brown, but I was too young to grasp the media changes already impacting her fictional career before mine hit the ground running. A writer and tech geek from the start, I learned HTML on a whim in ’96, and it pivoted my career in ways I never imagined into digital media, advertising, marketing and analytics.
But it’s these mad business writing, marketing and branding skills — along with firsthand knowledge how different audiences think and consume content of all kinds — that enable me to help others pick out the pearls of wisdom from the sea of ideas that so often chase communications goals, then take immediate strides forward to create killer experiences.
A Louisiana native, retired equestrian, fabric artist, killer baker, conservation and botany enthusiast, and gamer gal, I live in Beverly, Massachusetts with my ex-chef partner (yeah, he cooks for me! ❤️) and the bossiest little gray feline. But, Mister Farley stays out of the plants, so he’s basically a saint of cats. (Just a real bossy one.)
And, while I love tech and all things geeky, my favorite days are out fishing without a device for miles. And, yes, I bait my own hook, as well as clean the fish and cook them. Or make sashimi.
